The Municipal Chief Executive for Offinso Municipal Assembly Hon. Frank Owusu Amoah on Friday, 27th June, 2025 presented 600 pieces of dual-desks to the Municipal Education Directorate to be distributed to 28 Primary schools within the Offinso Municipality.
The provision of the Dual-Desk to the Basic Schools was to ensure that, the children would have a conducive, classroom environment for easy learning.
Hon. Frank Owusu Amoah said the Dual-desks was donated by the Ministry of Local Government Chieftaincy and Religious Affairs through Offinso Municipal Assembly. He said with the consignment, Ghana Education Service (GES) have decided to distribute the desk to primary schools facing challenges in the area of furniture to enhance effective classroom work.
He also expressed his profound gratitude to Government for their continuous support.
The Municipal Chief Executive used the opportunity to appeal to the teachers and pupils that, the desks were well maintained to prolong their life span. The Education Director thanked the government for the swift intervention and assured the MCE that, the desks will be put to good use.
