On June, 27th, 2025 the Municipal Chief Executive honored the students of various basic and Junior High schools in the municipality by serving as the guard of parade for their Inter-Schools Athletics competition. The event was held at Offinso College of Education School Park Ampabame and featured various sports competitions and activities.
The Municipal Chief Executive’s presence added to the excitement and enthusiasm of the students who showcased their parade skills. The event aimed to promote physical education, sportsmanship, camaraderie among the students.
The Municipal Chief Executive’s participation in the parade demonstrated the Municipal Assembly’s support for youth development and education. The event concluded with a call to action for students to prioritize their health and well-being through regular physical activity. He recommended to the Director of Education to consider hosting frequent sports events to promote student engagements and encourage community participation and support for student sports initiatives.
