The meeting started at about 10:00am at the Assembly . The Hon. MCE was formally introduced to the audience by the acting coordinating director.
The Hon. MCE amongst other issues touched on the following issues with regards to the staff conduct.
- Briefing of the staff on matters raised by the Head of service during their meeting with him with regards to service delivery standards.
- lateness to work : He entreat each and sundry should endeavor to report to work by 8:00am, observe an hour break between 12:30 – 1:30pm and close at 5:00pm
- Absenteeism without due permission. The Hon. MCE on his part vehemently discouraged such attitudes towards work, He however asked staff should seek permission from the appropriate authorities where necessary.
- Early departure: He again, encouraged staff to work until 5pm and give out the almost best.
The Hon. MCE concluded his message by encouraging all staff to give up their best for the uplifting of the municipality and that , he intend working cordially with all staff.
